![]() Projections A projection is a way of unwrapping and warping a spherical surface so that it will lie down flat. Flexify’s capabilities and controls are explained below. Click the dice button a few times until you see a result you like then click OK. Choose a different projection from the Output popup. Invoke Flexify, and tell it what kind of input image you’re using via the “Input” popup menu. If the image is circular, the selection should graze the edge of the circle. To get a quick idea of what Flexify does, load a full-sphere panoramic image into your paint program (there’s a small example panorama here). Quick start When you invoke Flexify 2, a dialog box will appear. From the menus, choose Filter > Flaming Pear > Flexify 2. To use it, open any image and select an area. You must restart Photoshop before it will notice new plug-ins. On Windows, it will be similar to C:/Program Files/Adobe/Adobe Photoshop/ Plug-ins. On OS X, it will be similar to Applications/Adobe Photoshop/Plug-ins. Just drag the plug-in filter into the folder where Photoshop expects to find it.
